GA-7IXE4 Power Management Question
Everything has gone smoothly while I have been putting this computer together except that when I press the Power Button to turn the system off only the processor fan, case fan, and power supply fan turn off and no output is supplied to the monitor. I hear the video card fan spinning and the hard drive too.

power management problem with Abit BP6

my own research, it would seem that the power management tab and the 'allow this device to bring computer out of standby' check box, is an option for the waters by mentioning other power down options and not stressing that Hibernate can only be 'awakened' with the soft power button until a subsequent post.

BIOS Power management question
All of my BIOS options seem to be correct. The problem is, NONE of the options Windows Help says I should have in the Power management area are actually there. I am able to select a scheme (Can't edit it), and in advanced I can have the power meter in my systray, and I can select what my power button does.
